PHOENIX, AZ – The Arizona IDA happily announces the financial closing of Salt River Flats 2 in Phoenix, developed by Ulysses Development Group. Located near their original Salt River Flats community, SRF2 will support families earning up to 60% of the median income with 168 units, with 1 to 4 bedrooms. Amenities include BBQ areas, a pool, a playground, and a community room. Salt River Flats 2 features a solar energy system expected to reduce energy use by over 70%. This project advances Phoenix’s goal of a more inclusive, sustainable, and connected community.

FLAGSTAFF, AZ – The Arizona IDA was honored to take part in the Grand Opening of Sierra on 66 last week, a recently constructed affordable housing development spearheaded by Roers Companies within the City of Flagstaff.

GOODYEAR, AZ – The Arizona IDA was privileged to participate in today’s dual Grand Openings for Suncrest Vista at Canyon Trails and Estrella Springs at Canyon Trails, two new affordable housing developments undertaken by Dominium within the City of Goodyear.

GLENDALE, AZ. – Mercy Housing’s new property, The Cascalote, celebrated its grand opening on Wednesday. The Cascalote is an affordable senior housing community for those aged 62 and older, located near 51st Avenue and Glendale Avenue.

The Arizona IDA and Ulysses Development Group added 126 affordable apartments for low- to middle-income families to South Phoenix. The units feature walk-in closets, energy-efficient appliances, washers and dryers, and outdoor spaces. Eleven units are reserved for those facing homelessness or domestic violence.

Arizona IDA – Dominium Acquires Land for 304-Unit Affordable Housing Development in Surprise, Arizona – SURPRISE — Dominium has closed on land in Surprise, a Phoenix suburb about 22 miles northwest of downtown. The developer is planning to build Allasso Ranch on the site. The project will comprise 304 affordable homes supported by low-income housing tax credits.

CASA GRANDE – Dominium is on track to expand its affordable build-to-rent inventory with another project in the Valley of the Sun. The company will built Townhomes on Earley, a BTR property set to comprise 278 homes in Casa Grande, Arizona.

SEDONA – With support from the Arizona IDA, Sedona is getting an affordable housing community after a construction management firm announced the groundbreaking of The Villas on Shelby.

MARICOPA – An affordable housing developer broke ground last week on a new rental community south of metro Phoenix. The Ranches at Gunsmoke, Lincoln Avenue Communities’ first build-to-rent project in Maricopa, is expected to open in 2026
