FLAGSTAFF, AZ – The Arizona IDA was honored to take part in the Grand Opening of Sierra on 66 last week, a recently constructed affordable housing development spearheaded by Roers Companies within the City of Flagstaff.

Situated along Historic Route 66, Sierra on 66 provides 221 new apartment units within Coconino County, thereby broadening housing opportunities for individuals and families with low to moderate incomes in a high-demand market. The development comprises one, two, and three-bedroom residences strategically designed to suit households of different sizes, fostering long-term stability.

Apartment residences are equipped with in-unit washers and dryers, stainless steel appliances, air conditioning, and included utilities. Shared amenities, including a clubroom, fitness center, outdoor gathering areas, tot lot, and dog run, foster a community-oriented environment rather than standalone housing.

Arizona IDA is proud to have served as the issuer for Sierra on 66, in coordination with Roers Companies, the Arizona Department of Housing, and the City of Flagstaff. Together, our partners continue to support the development of quality affordable housing across Northern Arizona.
